Mechanical Properties of Coir Fibre Epoxy Composites in Addition of Nano–Graphite Particles
Abstract:
In the present work, an analytical research approach studied the mechanical properties of the natural fibre, doping with nano-graphite particles. The structure, physicochemical properties and morphology of prepared samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The analysis reveals that the coir fibre epoxynano-composite wassuccessfully synthesized. Finally, it has been found that on doping of nano-graphite particles in the natural coir fibre, the tensile strength roughly increased by 40-50%, and therest of the mechanical properties increased an average of2-3 times.
